The Gandaberunda Silver Necklace (Red)

The Gandaberunda a mythical two-headed bird used as a royal emblem of the Mysore royal family forms the main motif  of this gorgeous heritage necklace . The sheer intricacies of design and flawless craftsmanship make this piece special. Handcrafted using techniques from ancient South Indian antique jewellery the pendant is studded with kempu stones and is fixed on a flat silver chain. All pieces in this collection are crafted in Sterling (92.5) Silver and gold-dipped in a special process to give them an antique look

For Oxidised Silver

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

For Gold-dipped Silver
*Please note that gold-dipped or gold-plated/ rosegold plated silver
jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.
* All Gold plated ; Rhodium plated ; Rose gold plated silver jewellery
has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
*Repair and repolish if possible is a chargeable service .
