The Classic Laxmi Kasu-malai Long Necklace (White)

This is a traditional south Indian `kasina-hara', `kasu-malai' or coin necklace, depicting Laxmi the goddess of wealth. Crafted in pure silver and oxidised this kasu mala is made more alluring by the  coins depicting Laxmi sitting on a lotus. Part of the Temple Jewellery collection of KO it is crafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique jewellery. All pieces in this collection are crafted in Sterling (92.5) Silver and gold-dipped in a special process to give them an antique look.

For Oxidised Silver

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.

has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
