The Devanshi Silver Lakshmi Necklace

One of the most striking features of `nakkasi' jewellery is that the gods/figures depicted seem to have a life-like quality.In this ornate nakkasi pendant the image of Goddess Lakshmi flanked by two majestic elephants and peacocks is reproduced in rare detail, in three dimensional repousse. An ornate necklace with an irresistible antique charm,this is sure to become a heirloom.

The pendant is hung on a necklace made of nakkasi pieces that have the peacock motif on them. Crafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique gold temple jewellery the entire piece is crafted in pure Sterling silver(92.5%) and oxidised.

For Oxidised Silver

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

For Gold-dipped Silver
*Please note that gold-dipped or gold-plated/ rosegold plated silver
jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.
* All Gold plated ; Rhodium plated ; Rose gold plated silver jewellery
has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
*Repair and repolish if possible is a chargeable service .
