The Kasu malai is perhaps one of the most ancient designs of South Indian jewellery. Here we have a beautiful piece with a slight twist. The coins are mango shaped and carry the image of godess Laxmi (seated on a lotus) .The size of the necklace, in keeping with traditional design is long. The perfect symmetry of the mango shaped coins, and the excellent craftsmanship make this a rare masterpiece of jewellery that will be prized and passed on for generations.

Crafted using techniques used in South Indian antique jewellery in Sterling (92.5) Silver the necklace has been oxidised to give it a dull antique look. This piece is also available in the antique silver-finish.
